　　首先我们对于长难句的处理需要秉承着一个目标，就是化长为短、化繁为简。 因此处理长难句的第一步就是我们需要把句子中的主干拎出来，理解句子的核心含义;第二步则为找到句子中的从句或者修饰成分进行识别

　　例句：Before each of their revelations,many thinkers at the time had sustained more ancient ways of thinking,including the geo-centric view that the Earth was at the centre of our universe. (2020年翻译 T47)

　　1. 核心主干： many thinkers at the time had sustained more ancient ways of thinking

　　2. Before each of their revelations,为位于句首的时间状语，以before为标志，翻译时时间状语整体前置即可

　　3. including the geo-centric view that the Earth was at the centre of our universe. 为解释说明的同位语，解释说明前面的名词思维方式，以including为标志，翻译时可采取顺译的翻译方法

　　第三步为在把每个部分的结构都识别出来之后把每个部分进行翻译
